Catch the eye of customers - Luce Amyot

Catch the eye of customers

Catch the eye of customers - Luce Amyot

If you are a business owner, then you are aware that you have to do all you can to attract customers. It is not just about the products and services that you provide or the way you advertise, but are also about the way that you present our business. This means that you have to look your absolute best on the outside as well as inside.

They say that you don’t have a second chance to make a first impression, and if customers have a bad first impression of you then they may never return. This is why it is important to put your best foot forward in every case.

What this means is that everything about the outside of your store has to look the best it can. You need to have a parking lot that is not full of debris or potholes. If you have grass, plants, or trees around the business, you need to make sure that they are properly cared for, including pruning and removing of weeds. You also have to make sure the building is painted, the windows are washed, and the roof looks good. Without doing this you may make an impression you will never recover from.

Besides doing the things the keep you from looking bad, there are things you can do to make yourself look superior to everyone else. This can mean having a neon sign, a great banner, or your logo showing. All of these things can make you stand out more and may draw customers to the business like never before.

One thing that we did at my business a few years ago was to add an awning heading into the front door of the business. That may not seem like a big deal, but we went to a company that makes awnings in montreal and they were able to give us one that had our logo imprinted on it. When that awning was open, we really stood out and it looked sharp as it can get. Plus, it gave the impression to customers that they were entering someplace really special.

What we liked about it as well was when the weather was really bad, like high winds or hail, we could simply retract it so it would not get damaged. It was absolutely perfect, and has really helped to draw customers to here. Now we make a sensational first impression.
